A severe thunderstorm was building east of me this evening on the Arikaree Breaks in the northwest corner of Kansas. the storms were moving so slowly that they were back-building to the north and west faster than they were moving out, making for a photographers dream come true. A nearly stationary storm, abnormal spring rains greening up the landscape, a perfect landscape, and the perfect spot all coming together!
